Subtle Energy Transformation: Am I Living in My Body?

Beckah Reed believes in the integration of body, mind, and spirit, and works with subtle energy
to create wholeness, a full presence-ing of self. The experiences of the pandemic have caused a
type of displacement for many, a fear of the human body (including our own) with the result
that we may tend to “live outside of” ourselves. Subtle energy is a tool for self-healing, as well
as distance healing; it is a way of diving deeply into the cells of our bodies and resurfacing
refreshed and grounded.

Beckah Reed has been practicing and studying various healing and meditation modalities since
1973, including Transcendental Meditation, Universal Energy, Qigong, and Hun Yuan Taiji. She
is a Master Reiki Practitioner, attended the Barbara Brennan School for Healing for two years,
and is certified in Level I of Pranic Healing and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Beckah has
been teaching and working with clients in transformation through subtle energy for over 2
decades.

Beckah has taught in the Department of Dance at Webster University since 1986 and has served
as artistic director of ANNONYArts, Wishbone Dance Theatre and co-artistic director of
GASH/VOIGT Dance Theatre. Her dancing has taken her to communities across the globe,
focusing on connection and humanistic issues.

The workshop Subtle Energy Transformation: Am I Living in My Body? provides an explorative
space for methodologies that can ground (first chakra) and assist in creating a sense of safety.
Participants explore what may be caught, clogged, congested, gnarled, tied in knots, depleted,
empty, torn, frazzled… and without judgment allow a release, a nourishment, a transformation
that creates more clarity and ease.

Come with an intention for what it is you desire; wear some red or have something red near
you to assist the process. Minimal physical movement and lush visualizations are combined
with the breath, creating a relaxation process, an ability to let go and focus, allowing the flow of
subtle energy, awakening the senses to acknowledge this invisible healing pathway. Come back
home to your body and feel a soothing breath of gratitude!
